We’re Staying Safe. —
Brae is compliant with the Victorian State Government’s Hospitality Industry Guidelines for coronavirus (COVID-19), implemented to keep our guests and community safe.
Both guests and staff are fully vaccinated. Victorian State regulation dictates that each guest attending must be fully vaccinated (double dose) for Covid-19 and evidence sighted. Guests unable to meet this requirement will be unable to enter the dining room. All employees are required to be fully vaccinated in order to attend work.
Signage displays allowable guest numbers and strict hygiene protocols. Names, mobile numbers and postcodes of all guests are held for a period of 28 days to assist with contact tracing. Guests showing signs of illness will not be allowed entry. An electronic wine list is sanitised between uses and is available to view prior to your visit, on request. Paper items are single-use. Credit card payments only are accepted with EFTPOS machines sanitised between uses. 70% alcohol gel hand sanitiser is provided at the restaurant entrance and at each table.
All surfaces and touch points throughout the restaurant and guest suites are cleaned and sanitised frequently, using eWater Systems cleaner and sanitiser. Heating and air-conditioning systems have been serviced to ensure proper fresh air flow. Team members are not permitted to be at work while showing signs of illness. All have completed the Victorian Government Hospitality Industry Guidelines for Coronavirus (COVID 19) Return to Work Training. The health of every team member is monitored and recorded via daily temperature and health checks and they are all wearing fitted face masks while at work.
Help us keep you and others safe when you visit. Follow the advice of authorities and stay home if you are feeling unwell, or if travelling from a government declared coronavirus hotspot. Sanitise your hands before entering the building and at regular intervals throughout your visit. Maintain a distance of 1.5 meters between you and other guests at all times. Remain seated throughout your meal, except to visit the bathroom. When asked, please provide ID showing your current residential address and vaccine status, to assist with compliance. Failure to comply with directions can result in fines ranging from $1,817 up to $109,044.
