Avalon Airport is Birregurra’s closest domestic airport, servicing Sydney and Brisbane. Car rental is available on arrival. From Avalon, it’s a one-hour drive to Birregurra.
Tullamarine Airport is Melbourne’s international and domestic airport, servicing all locations. Car rental is available on arrival. From Tullamarine, it’s just over an hour and a half drive to Birregurra.
Microflite Helicopters operate private helicopter transfers to Colac airfield, Irrewarra. Please contact them directly for details.

While in Birregurra, explore the town’s heritage streets on the Birregurra heritage walk.
For quality food, wine and coffee we recommend visiting The Royal Mail Hotel, and Otway Artisan Gluten Free bakery. You can stock up on local produce and wares at the Birregurra market, held on the second Sunday of the month from October to May.
For keen golfers, be sure to book a tee at the picturesque Birregurra Golf Club.
If you’re visiting us during spring, you may also be able to enjoy the annual Birregurra Festival and art show.
If you plan on staying in the region for a few days, we recommend exploring the beautiful region around Brae.
There’s a great opportunity to explore the many walks and sights found in the Otways, as well as the farm gates and cellar doors that dot the region. The Otways Harvest Trail is a great resource.
