Brae Farm Radicchio Amaro
We're so excited by the launch of this unique amaro, a collaboration between Brae and Saison Aperitifs.
At its core is an infusion of multiple heirloom varieties of radicchio, grown organically here at Brae Farm.
Layers of heavily roasted koji, magnolia blossom, saffron and coriander seed bring depth and complexity.
Built on a base of blended Victorian moscato, the amaro is bittered with gentian and matured in ex-shiraz and whisky co-ferment French oak.
Despite the bitter profile of the radicchio, the finished liquid is fruity, packed with red currant, raspberry and rosehip notes, with sweetness pulled straight from the radicchio leaves.
Best enjoyed over ice with a splash of something sparkling or stirred into a complex variation on a Negroni.
